Real Transformer Costumes
Yes, you have an inner nerd, it’s OK to admit, and he secretly thinks this is awesome, while your outer self shakes its head in disapproval.

Laser Bike Path
This has been floating around for awhile now, but the video is pretty sweet.  Check it out, then start thinking about what other stuff you could make by shooting lasers off your body. Laser hopscotch?

Who says breakdancing can’t be graceful and a little ridonk at the same time?

Beatbox Bird Trend
Ok, so we get the graceful breakdancer together with an orchestra of beat box birds and I think we’ve got something. Something…?

Designy Balloons – Man, why didn’t I think of that? Can someone make an app where I can upload jpegs onto balloons then blow them up for my parties?

Candy

Each month I get a clean white envelope in my snail mailbox from the cable company, asking for another $100 check. If you’re like me, and like but don’t love TV, it’s hard to justify the cost. So, this past week I decided to get even and really stick it to the man by cancelling my cable TV service, hacking my AppleTV and installing a program called Boxee.

If you haven’t heard, this super-cool app developed by a couple of geeks like me is very simple to install (DIY guide here) and allows you to stream Hulu, CBS, NBC, FOX and torrent-based video sources directly to an Internet connected device – in my case, my big screen TV. And the best part -- wait for it -- it’s free!

Throw in an optional iPhone app to control it plus equipment costs, and you can save $1,000 per year on cable television. I mean, why not, right? Just think of all the great things you can do with all that extra cash: throw a pizza party with an all-you-can-eat sundae bar, take a road trip to Vancouver, or buy a lifetime supply of toilet paper at Costco. What are you waiting for? Freedom is only a flash drive away!
